1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing, or using Mood Meal Spin (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These Terms are an agreement between you and [App Owner / Company Name] ("we", "us", "our").

2. Who can use the App

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

3. Your account

You may create an account with email and password or by signing in with Google. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it if it changes. You may end your session at any time from the app header, and you may request account deletion by contacting us at [support@example.com].

4. What the App does

Mood Meal Spin helps you decide what to cook by spinning a wheel of recipe suggestions based on a meal category and your current mood. It also lets you save recipes to a Recipe Box, keep a Staples shopping list, and share recipes and lists with friends. Recipes are a mix of curated content and content generated with the help of AI.

5. Recipes are suggestions, not advice

Recipes, ingredient lists, cook times, and nutrition-adjacent information in the App are provided for general inspiration only. They are not medical, dietary, or allergen advice. You are responsible for checking ingredients against your own allergies, dietary restrictions, and food-safety practices. If you have a medical condition, consult a qualified professional before making dietary changes.

Because some recipe content is generated with AI, it may occasionally contain errors, missing steps, or unusual combinations. Please use your judgment when cooking.

6. Purchases and ad-free upgrade

The App is free to use with occasional ads. You can purchase a one-time $4.99 ad-free upgrade to remove ads. All purchases are processed by the Google Play Store and are subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Refunds are handled through Google Play according to their published refund policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the App or its infrastructure.
• Upload or share content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that infringes anyone's rights.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the App or its data.
• Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or organization.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, and remove content that violates them or applicable law.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create in the App (saved recipes, notes, folders, shopping items, and shared lists). By using sharing features, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the App and deliver the features you use.

9. Third-party services

The App relies on third-party services including Google Play (distribution and payments), Google Sign-In (authentication), and our backend/database provider (account, recipe, and usage-event storage). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the App you agree to the practices described there.

11. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that recipe content will be accurate or suitable for you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD $10.

13. Termination

You can stop using the App at any time and request that we delete your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (for example, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing law
